Description: ZIMBABWE AGRICULTURAL SHOW (ZAS) EXHIBITION CONCEPT Theme Beyond Tobacco Growing Prosperity Sustaining the Future Stand Size 77sqm 7.3 x 10.5 2 open sides Overview The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) exhibit at the 2025 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) will showcase how Zimbabwe’s tobacco industry is evolving beyond just production. The exhibit will highlight sustainability, value addition, smallholder farmer empowerment and alternative revenue streams within the industry. It will also emphasise TIMB’s role in driving innovation, economic transformation, and environmental responsibility in the tobacco sector. Exhibit Design & Key Features TIMB’s exhibit will be designed as an immersive experience, featuring a mix of interactive displays, live demonstrations, and multimedia presentations to engage stakeholders and visitors. Requirements 2 TVs / screens 1 sitting area with a couch 1 Front desk (digital display) Storeroom Coloured Lights Flier rack x2 5 Bar stools 1 interactive digital screen See-through display shelves with dried Zim tobacco cigarettes cigars cut rag etc Exhibition Zones The Green Tobacco Hub (Sustainability & Environmental Management) A live display of afforestation efforts, including a woodpile of eucalyptus wood for sustainable tobacco curing. Showcasing alternative curing technologies, such as the gas curing barn. Digital screen presentations on TIMB’s afforestation initiatives and partnerships for sustainability. The Smallholder Empowerment Pavilion (Stow-Muhacha & Rural Transformation) Centralized Tobacco Curing Facilities Model - display of the Stow-Muhacha Cooperative setup, showing how smallholder farmers are transitioning into formal SMEs. Live testimonies from farmers who have benefited from TIMB’s programs. A digital board tracking the increase in smallholder productivity, comparing pre- and post-TIMB intervention data. Tobacco to Wealth display, showcasing how TIMB is helping farmers diversify income streams beyond tobacco – Global GAP. The TIMB Innovation & Technology Zone (Digital Advancements) Live demonstrations of TIMB’s Biometric Grower Management System, showcasing how digital registration enhances efficiency and transparency. Branding & Visual Appeal The stand will be eco-themed with natural wood finishes, green plants, and interactive digital screens. The design will reflect growth, sustainability, and prosperity, reinforcing the theme “Beyond Tobacco – Growing Prosperity, Sustaining the Future.” Conclusion TIMB’s 2025 ZAS Exhibit will not only showcase the progress of Zimbabwe’s tobacco industry but also educate and inspire stakeholders on the future of profitable, sustainable and technology-driven tobacco production.
