Overview

The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB) exhibit at the 2025 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) will showcase how Zimbabwe’s tobacco industry is evolving beyond just production. The exhibit will highlight sustainability, value addition, smallholder farmer empowerment and alternative revenue streams within the industry. It will also emphasise TIMB’s role in driving innovation, economic transformation, and environmental responsibility in the tobacco sector.

Exhibit Design & Key Features

TIMB’s exhibit will be designed as an immersive experience, featuring a mix of interactive displays, live demonstrations, and multimedia presentations to engage stakeholders and visitors.

 Centralized Tobacco Curing Facilities Model - display of the Stow-Muhacha Cooperative setup, showing how smallholder farmers are transitioning into formal SMEs.

 Live testimonies from farmers who have benefited from TIMB’s programs.

 A digital board tracking the increase in smallholder productivity, comparing pre- and post-TIMB intervention data.

Tobacco to Wealth display, showcasing how TIMB is helping farmers diversify income streams beyond tobacco – Global GAP.
