| 1 | 73171510 | Electrical accessories or supplies manufacture services | 160kW, 380V Motor Rotor Shaft Replacement SCOPE OF WORK This scope of work covers the replacement of rotor shaft of a 160kW induction motor which drives a low lift water pump at Hwange Power Station. The scope of work shall be as follows • The rotor repair shall be carried out to permit voltage tests in accordance with the latest IEC 60034 standards. • The bend rotor shaft shall be replaced with a new one to ensure there are no runouts (trueness checks) and balanced to the requirements of the IEC 60034-14 standard for mechanical vibrations. Clearances shall be maintained as per the appropriate standards. replacement of grease plate with one of appropriate material. Original shaft profile and diameters of shaft and journals shall be maintained. • Drive end and non-drive end bearings shall be replaced with new ones. • Terminal block should be replaced with an new appropriate one with properly sized delta bars and studs.
