Description:

Scope of work

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) wishes to engage a service provider to solarize the drilled borehole (56m) which is supposed to supply water to the Mash West Provincial Offices Building in Chinhoyi. The project scope of works is fix and supply as follows:

Detailed Scope of Works – Borehole Solarisation

 

  
  1. Install and mount a solar PV array of 8 solar modules preferably 555Wp  Jinko Tiger Pro Solar Panels to power the borehole.
  2. Install two(2) tank stands to carry each a 5000L water storage tank- the height of the tank stands is 12m. The distance between the borehole point and the tank stands location is about 70m.
  3. Supply and install the 2 x 5000L JoJo water storage tanks.
  4. The borehole submersible pump to be 2hp in size.
  5. Install  a 1.5 hp booster pump to be  powered by the  grid electricity from the building.
  6. The drilled borehole depth is 56m
  7. All the equipment to conform to IEC standards

 

Borehole location coordinates are (-17.36007, 30.1992) and the altitude is 1150m.
